Jump for Animals Getting Started

Your first hour on Roblox: jump, collect, park, train, then think about rebirth.

Getting Started

Jump for Animals (listed on Roblox as +1 Jump For Animals) is a free simulator/tycoon by GiovaDev. You do not fight and you barely run. You walk, you jump, and every action feeds EXP into JumpPower. Higher JumpPower reaches higher animal bands. Animals go on base slots and print cash. Cash buys treadmills, extra slots, and Premium Lucky Blocks. When the next upgrade feels expensive, you rebirth and the multiplier doubles forever.

This page is the first-hour loop so you do not stall on the grass with a chicken in your hands and no plot income.

Load in and learn the HUD

Press Play on the Roblox experience. Servers hold five players. If a friend is already in, join them for the ×2 cash bonus listed in the official description.

After spawn you should see:

  • JumpPower or level near the portrait
  • Cash
  • A plot with empty animal slots
  • Treadmills or conveyors off to one side
  • An Index button for the 55-animal collection

Movement uses standard Roblox controls: WASD or thumbstick to walk, space or the on-screen jump button to leap. Walking is not wasted animation — every step grants EXP.

Minute 0–10: jump on purpose

Do not stand still. Walk a short loop, jump whenever you land, and watch JumpPower tick. The design is the same family as GiovaDev’s other +1 jump games: the stat is the gate, not a skill check. You are not supposed to “git gud” at parkour. You are supposed to keep the EXP faucet open.

When JumpPower lets you reach the first floating or elevated animal, pick it up. The thumbnail chicken is the Basic example. Carry it back to your plot and place it on a slot. Held animals do not pay. Slotted animals do.

If you die or reset, you keep account progress. You do not keep a creature that was still in your hands on some servers — slot it the moment you land.

Minute 10–25: fill slots, then train

Empty slots are the real noob trap. Buy extra plot space only after every current slot has something in it, even a Basic. Passive cash from a full cheap row beats one empty “waiting for Legendary” hole.

Spend the first cash pile on the lowest treadmill that outruns walking. Official belts are ×3, ×9, ×25, ×100, and ×1000. You will not afford ×1000 on day one. ×3 is a win. Stand on it, keep jumping if the belt allows, and dump the extra JumpPower into the next height band.

Skip Premium Lucky Blocks until Commons and Uncommons fill the Index. Lucky Blocks exist to roll Legendary through Beyond, not to skip the first row of the tier list.

Minute 25–45: Index, mutations, friends

Open the Index. It is the collection checklist for all 55 creatures across 9 rarities. Grey entries tell you what still exists in the world. You do not need the full Index to rebirth, but you do need to know whether you are looking at a Basic duplicate or a new rarity.

Mutations listed in the official description are Gold (×2), Diamond (×3), Ruby (×5), and Emerald (×10). A mutated Common can out-earn a plain Rare. See mutation tiers before you delete a “weak” pet.

If a friend can sit in your server, that ×2 cash bonus is better than most shop purchases. Offline earnings keep printing while you are logged out, so always leave your highest earners slotted.

When to look at rebirth

The rebirth button will appear before it is smart to press. Rebirth resets your level and doubles a permanent multiplier. That is the long-term engine of Jump for Animals. It is also how people brick an hour of JumpPower for a tiny multiplier they could have doubled later with more cash in the bank.

Read how to rebirth and glance at the planner before you confirm. If the next JumpPower upgrade takes longer than a short treadmill session, you are in the window. If you still have empty slots and no ×3 belt, you are not.

First-hour checklist

  • Walk and jump non-stop for EXP
  • Slot every animal you pick up
  • Buy the cheapest treadmill that beats walking
  • Invite a friend for ×2 cash
  • Ignore Lucky Blocks and rebirth until the plot is full
  • Claim a code only if the codes hub shows an active string

That is the whole tutorial. Everything else on this wiki is a deeper cut of the same loop.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Jump for Animals questions.

Is Jump for Animals free?

Yes. It is a free Roblox experience. Lucky Blocks and gamepasses are optional cash sinks, not a paywall to play.

Why am I not earning cash?

Animals only pay on base slots. A creature in your hands or backpack is a trophy, not an income stream.

Should I rebirth in the first hour?

Almost never. Fill slots and buy a treadmill first. See how to rebirth.

How many animals are in the game?

The official description lists 55 creatures across 9 rarities. Track them in the Index.
