Jump for Animals Animal Tier List
S through D bands for plot income, with mutations as a separate multiplier.
This Jump for Animals tier list ranks rarity bands by how hard they pull cash on a base slot. The game advertises 55 creatures and 9 rarities, from Basic to Beyond. Individual species names in the middle of that ladder can change with patches, so we do not publish a fake 55-row spreadsheet. Use the in-game Index for names. Use this page for spend decisions.
Ranking criterion: passive cash per slot, then how hard the band is to reach. PvP does not exist here. “Fun” pets belong in the Index, not in S if they print poorly.
S — Beyond and Emerald mutants
Beyond is the official top of the ladder. One Beyond on a slot is a plot-defining earner. If that Beyond is also Emerald (×10), it is the captain of the base. Do not overwrite it with a duplicate that has no mutation.
Premium Lucky Blocks exist specifically to roll this band. World spawns at this height need serious JumpPower and treadmill time.
A — Legendary plus Ruby / Diamond
Legendary is the first band Lucky Blocks are meant to hit. A Ruby (×5) or Diamond (×3) Legendary often beats a plain pet from the next rarity. Keep mutants on the plot even if a “higher” empty-stat drop appears.
B — Epic and Rare with Gold
Epic and Rare fill the mid Index and pay the first rebirth. Gold (×2) on these bands is the budget S-tier. If you must sell or replace, sell plain copies, never Gold.
C — Uncommon and Common
These are slot fillers. A full row of Commons prints more than two empty “waiting for Beyond” tiles. Fill C, then hunt up. This is the whole point of how to get animals.
D — Basic (chicken row)
Basic is the tutorial band. The thumbnail chicken belongs here. Slot Basics on minute one, then replace them from the left as soon as Uncommons land. Never delete a Basic that is your only occupant — empty slots earn zero.
How to use the list in a session
- Sort your plot by this band, not by which model looks cool.
- Open mutation tiers before you replace anything shiny.
- Spend cash on slots and belts before you spend it on vanity rolls.
- After rebirth, accept that you may park C and D pets again for ten minutes. That is recovery, not a downgrade.
Friends’ ×2 cash bonus scales whatever is already slotted. A full C row with a friend beats an empty S dream in a solo server.
When a patch adds a tenth rarity or retunes Beyond, the updates hub will note it and this list will move the bands. Until then, trust Index silhouettes over random YouTube thumbnails from other +1 jump games.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Jump for Animals questions.
Is Beyond the best animal in Jump for Animals?
As a rarity band, yes. An Emerald mutant of a lower band can still beat a plain Beyond. See mutations.
Should I bench Commons?
Only after a higher band is ready to sit in that exact slot. Empty is worse than Common.
Does this list cover all 55 animals?
It covers the 9 official rarity bands. Species names live in the Index so we do not invent a roster.
Where should S-tier pets go?
On your best base slots, not in the backpack.
