Treadmill Training

Treadmills are how Jump for Animals turns idle time into JumpPower. The official Roblox page lists five conveyor multipliers: ×3, ×9, ×25, ×100, and ×1000. You do not need the last belt to enjoy the game. You need the cheapest belt that beats walking, then a plan for when the next one is a real upgrade instead of a vanity pad.

How a belt actually works

A treadmill is a volume. Stand on it (and keep jumping if the pad counts jumps) and EXP lands at the printed multiplier. Walking the grass is ×1. The ×3 belt is a three-times faucet. That is why the first purchase is almost always correct: you still collect animals in the same session, but every AFK minute is no longer wasted.

Belts do not replace rebirth. A ×1000 conveyor with a ×1 multiplier is a hamster wheel. A ×3 conveyor after two doubles is a factory. Buy belts with cash your slotted animals already print, not with Robux panic.

When to buy each tier

Use income, not aesthetics:

  • ×3 — buy as soon as Basics fill a couple of slots. This is the only belt that is almost never a mistake.
  • ×9 — buy when ×3 feels slow and the next JumpPower gate is a Rare/Epic platform you cannot reach in a short walk.
  • ×25 — buy after at least one rebirth, or when Lucky Block hunting needs a JumpPower spike the same day.
  • ×100 / ×1000 — late. If the purchase would delay a rebirth that doubles everything, rebirth first, then buy the belt with the new income.

The planner is built for this comparison: minutes to afford a belt vs minutes to a double. If the double arrives first, skip the pad.

How to train without wasting the session

  1. Slot animals before you AFK on a belt. Offline earnings and plot cash should run in parallel.
  2. Invite a friend into the five-player server. ×2 cash while you train is free JumpPower in disguise, because cash buys the next belt.
  3. Face the next animal platform. When JumpPower crosses the gate, step off and collect. A belt that you never leave is a belt that never pays the Index.
  4. After a rebirth, return to the highest belt you still own immediately. That is how you rebuild level without repeating the grass tutorial.

Common treadmill mistakes

  • Buying ×1000 with empty slots. The multiplier has nothing to multiply except your impatience.
  • Training through a code window. Redeem first; some gifts are timed potions that should overlap a belt session.
  • Ignoring mutations. An Emerald pet on the plot pays for belts faster than any Basic row. Rank keepers with the mutation list.
  • Standing on a belt you cannot afford to restart after rebirth. If the pad purchase wipes, you just donated cash.

Treadmills vs Lucky Blocks

Lucky Blocks skip rarity. Treadmills skip time-to-height. If your Index is stuck on Legendary because you cannot reach the pad, a belt is the correct spend. If you can already reach the pad and you are missing the roll, Lucky Blocks are the correct spend. Mixing them up is how people go broke with high JumpPower and a plot full of Basics.

Train in short blocks. The game is released and idle-friendly, but the Index only fills when you step off the conveyor and actually pick something up.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Jump for Animals questions.

What treadmill multipliers exist?

Official belts are ×3, ×9, ×25, ×100, and ×1000. Start with ×3.

Should I buy a treadmill or rebirth?

If a rebirth would double income, take it first. Compare both on the planner.

Do I need to jump on the treadmill?

Keep jumping if the pad still grants jump EXP. Standing still only helps if the belt ticks without input — test it for ten seconds.

Is the ×1000 belt required?

No. It is an endgame convenience. Slots, mutations, and rebirth matter more.
